Account Deletion

At HackMate, your privacy is paramount. You have full control over your data. Follow the steps below if you wish to permanently delete your HackMate account and all associated profile, event, and team data.

Delete Account via App (Fastest)

The easiest and fastest way to delete your account is directly within the HackMate iOS app. This will instantly trigger the deletion process in our Supabase backend.

  1. Open the HackMate app on your device.
  2. Navigate to your Profile Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

Note: Deletion is irreversible. All of your existing team affiliations and registrations will be canceled.

Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request an account deletion by contacting support.

Send an email to:

Please send the email from the address associated with your HackMate account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request and permanently remove your data within 30 days.

HackMate adheres strictly to Apple App Store data deletion guidelines. Rest assured that all your PII (Name, Email, Profile Data) will be completely scrubbed from our systems.
